Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), formerly known as Arunachal University, is a central university situated in Rono Hills, Doimukh, near Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 1984, it was renamed in 2005 to honor former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
